Brysons Blog Entry Mayhem #5

In the allstate ad Tailgater :30 the author of the ad is most like attempting to promote a chaotic experience and feeling from the viewer. The way the main spokesman drives the car and causes the accident in the ad produces a feeling of anxiousness and chaotic energy from the viewer while watching it all go down. The Ad is promoting a safer lifestyle by showing what a dangerous lifestyle looks like and is saying life can really hit at anytime so it'd be best to go with there insurance company now rather than later. The implied values and belief to this ad are that life can go south at anytime and any place so its best to be insured. The target audience would definitely be people who don't have insurance because in the ad it implies that not everyone has it.  When i was about 17 years old I went snowboarding for the 3rd time ever in my life with my father, admittedly i was more eager than i was good at snowboarding. The day was nice it was about 7:00 am up in snowbowl flagstaff. It had just snowed the night prior so the air was a crisp and cold 30 degrees we had just left our hotel to head up to the mountain to snowboard. Being alone is dangerous, once you’re in a bad place alone its next to impossible to get out, but with the help of some friends it gives you a fighting chance to get better. I was a quiet kid I didn’t talk to a lot of people growing up and really didn’t have friends.   From kindergarten to about 5 th grade I went to a school called Sundance elementary. Here is where I found my first group of friends, we hit it off! I thought these we’re the friends I would have for a lifetime. Come 5 th grade my mom pulled me aside and said, “you’re going to be switching schools”. I was devastated I was about to leave the friends I had tried to so hard to make and grown up with. This was a disaster. As the 5 th grade year came to an end the sadness just kept creeping in like a lion stalking its prey. I didn’t know what to do I had to say my goodbyes. During the summer of 5 th grade my old friends and I grew distant, I was losing my friends. We didn’t play outside as much since I moved away, and it

As i hold the circular shrink-wrapped package in my hand i shake it and hear a bunch of rattling, I struggled to take it off the packaging my fingers wrestled to remove the plastic wrapping. As i find the perforated edges i am able to remove the plastic with ease. As i take a look at the container with its plastic now removed i am met with the sight of a circular container with blue and red divided by white. In the middle stands in bold white lettering the name of my favorite breath refresher. I open the tab to reveal multiple oval objects with 2 colors, red and white. The aroma of strawberry lingers in the air as I go to grab one of the objects  As I insert this sugary substance into my mouth i am met sour but sweet  flavor and a slight aroma of that is cool to the taste and touch as i breath out my breath feels as if it fills the room. The half bumpy and red, half smooth white tablet rested on my tongue it began to dissolve onto my taste buds and it gave me a fruity and cooling sensa
